With ties to the Wilhelm Family Vineyards in Elgin, Terra Alta features an impressive wine selection, and our hostMaryAnn was friendly and helpful in explaining the menu?s nuances, including craft beers like a banana-split stout. As a hugecheese fan, my absolute favorite dish was the Goat Queso Blanco (with herbed bread and artisan chevre from Sonoita), and wecan?t wait to go back and sample the flatbreads and other tapas. My husband and I always enjoy the delicious food and wines we order The greens for the salad are very fresh and the dressings... are made in house. We especially like the crab cakes that we share. We had about 18 people come to celebrate my birthday with aplanned menu. Service was impeccable and very friendly. We love our interactions with the chef and manager to hear about hownew dishes and sauces are created. Having this connection with the person who prepares the food is rare. We will be thereregularly! Do not go. They charged 65 for mothers day brunch, mimosa for mom was supposed to be free. I gave mine to my husband and they... charged us. They charged for coffee. When I asked for a copy of the bill they said they would email it? How can one check thecharges. Nothing special on the buffet to warrant 65 for person. Food good service fair to poor and I would never return. Toomany places in town offer a better selection for a fair price. Read more
