Just like being fed in a Filipino home! Rosanna was so kind and even recommended some favorites because I had trouble choosing... from so many dishes. She remembered and said my name throughout my time there. Something this small makes all the difference forme because they care about their customers like guests rather than a customer. The portions were larger than I anticipated! What I thought would feed two adults could have fed a family of five. At least I had a lot of leftovers to enjoy the next day.If you want to find an authentic cultural activity in Seattle southside, then make sure to come here and learn about the historythat originated in the 1940's. The fried chicken was so tender and juicy. I like that they don't put additional shake n' bakecrumbs. They naturally fry the skin to a delicious golden crisp. The fried pork was so good. You get to peel it off the bone. The crunch was accompanied by a savory delight. It wasn't too hard or too chewy. Sometimes your jaw can have a workout, but porkwas just right. All the dishes I ordered was outright delicious, along with the purple halo-halo for dessert. I will come hereagain to bring my kids to it. I went there for lunch for the very first time, and now I know that it's more than a quick bite toeat; it's an experience that preserves the culture of the Philippines. Read more

I had a great dining experience here! Everyone and everything was on-point for my visit; from the hostess/greeter, the busser,... the food, and my server (Rochelle). The restaurant was exceptionally clean, the employees were very friendly and helpful, andthe food was well-portioned, served at the perfect temp, and very flavorful!! Special shout-out to the employees, who made mefeel welcomed even though they knew it was my first time trying Filipino Cuisine and could sense my hesitation, lol. My server,Rochelle, went above and beyond to explain the menu items and how to eat my food selections for the ultimate flavor rush ofeverything. Overall, I recommend trying Max's!???????????? We took my niece here for the first time and we ordered the half chicken, pork sinigang, lumpia, lechon kawali sisig and large... rice. Everything was so tasty and the servers Rosana and Rochelle were excellent and friendly. Highly recommend the chicken ofcourse. No place else you will find the flavor, airy crispyness of the skin and moist tender meat! I grew up having gone to theGlendale, CA location and so happy there?s one here in Washington. Read more
