I had ribs and turkey. The ribs were so tender. I often discount restaurants that cook "competition style" over flavor. Not this... place - - enough flavor to win any competition. Read more
I kept hearing about how great this place was so I had to give it a try. Now, I thought I knew what good BBQ was but I was... mistaken! I have been there once or twice a week now for a month to check consistency and these folks know what they are doing.I have now tried all the meats they offer except for the beef ribs and that is just because I have not been there on a Saturdayyet. All the meats are good but the brisket is just the best of the best. I love that you can choose between the lean end or thefatty end of the brisket, many places don't give you the option. Tell them what you want and they will oblige. Sides are greattoo! Now that I have tried almost all of it, I would suggest you try a two meat combo, fatty end brisket / Ribs / Cheese Grits &Mac & Cheese. You will not be disappointed! Read more
Amazing BBQ!!! Sliced brisket was the most tender, flavorful meat! We also enjoyed the sausage. They were out of all meat except... brisket, pulled pork and sausage. That was a little disappointing especially on a Saturday at noon. The hours are Tues-Sat11a-3p. Get ready to spend some $. We ordered the two meat tray for $19 each. The sides need a little work but those arenormally specific to each persons taste buds. A suggestion would be to add baked beans or bbq beans, instead of ranch style.Potato salad was creamy and whipped textured. One other suggestion is to get new open topped trash cans. Love Love Love this place, price is reasonable considering the cost of one meal any other place. My favorite meal is a brisket... sandwich with chips, but all sides sold here are also very tasty! The service I get is the best, both girls and gentlemenworking in the front line are awesome, they see me and know my order by heart.
