This place looks like your average spot, but we were totally blown away by how delicious the food was. Plenty of "standard"... basics, just cooked with superb ingredients. HIGHLY recommend. My picky 6 year old was upset that we were leaving. Read more
Travellers, this is a congenial local pub that is a hub for local nightlife. Lunch was okay in general. The Jamaican meatloaf... was over cooked and not so tasty. The fries were terrific but the meatloaf is just okay. The pulled pork on brioche was betterand scrumptious. The chicken Caesar salad was okay too. The service is very pleasant and with a smile. But we waited for an hourfor our lunch order to get to the table. It took a long time. If you have extra time and want a sweet place to talk, or you aremeeting friends, this is a good choice. We arrived for a short stay in Turner's Falls on a Monday evening, forgetting that most restaurants are closed on Mondays... anymore. The stars favored us when we found that the Voo was open. The space is super cool, with a gorgeous bar, a lot of campystuff, and great music. We ordered burgers with veggie sides. The burgers were delicious, perfectly cooked to temperature. Wehad sides of roasted asparagus and Brussels, and a salad, all of which were excellent. There's a great choice of beer on draftor bottled. And the cider on tap was amazing. The best part of our meal was our fabulous server, Ellen. She was attentive andinformative and hilarious. The Rendezvous is convivial with fantastic food.
