Food was a mix of average and good both times we've been. We asked the manager (on a Sunday afternoon) if we could be in and out... in 50 minutes, because we had a hard deadline. She said, "absolutely!" The place was not busy. Seated immediately, friendlywaiter took awhile to ask for drinks, at which point we immediately ordered entrees, too. Food took forever, we had to hunt downsomeone bc our guy disappeared. Food finally came (without utensils) 6 minutes before we had to leave. Got utensils in time tohave five bites and dump stuff in boxes. Unlikely to return. Read more

First time at this Mugshots, the restaurant was very nice and atmosphere was wonderful. The food was emaculate and plenty of it.... My fried pickles were great. The employees were great and very friendly and made sure drinks were always full. I woulddefinitely stop back by next time I'm in town. Thanks guys. Read more

We make at least one trip to Mugshots each time we're in town. Service is great, food is great, and there are so many menu... choices, you can visit often and still try something new each time. We were just passing through town and decided to stop in fordinner. Very popular and crowded but we were seated quickly. We split the patty melt and found it delicious!! Service wasfriendly and quick. Server was knowledgeable about the beers and offered samples before we ordered. Read more

It was a bit crazy! When we got there we were told it was going to be a 40-minute wait. We were seated in about 10 minutes. We... ordered drinks right away and everything seemed fine. We ordered appetizers and everyone ordered their main course for theevening as well. That's when the fun started! The place started filling up. However there were several empty tables with peoplewaiting to get a table, and yet they remained empty. There were at least five tables who had drinks on their table and hadordered, yet had not received any food at that point. It seemed that they had plenty of staff but it also seemed like thekitchen was just not putting the food out fast enough. I saw several tables complaining, and I must say the staff was veryunderstanding. It just seemed like they were overwhelmed. The bartender, who seemed like an owner based on his demeanor, gotinto it with one of the guests who insisted on sitting at a table that was not available for anyone to be sitting at. Ioverheard him telling staff that he was not going to serve him and then I heard him ask this guy to leave. At about an hour in,we finally got our appetizers. They were pretty good. The main entrees followed about 10 minutes later, also pretty good.Overall the food was good, however it just seemed that the staff were in over their heads. It was parent weekend at theUniversity of Alabama, and I feel that they just did not prepare for the extra large crowd that they should have anticipated. Iwould think being a restaurant in the downtown section of Tuscaloosa, minutes from the University, that they would have thisdown to a science. But who am I to judge. Maybe they had five people call out that night, I don't know. In the end the food wasgood but the service was underwhelming. I would go back again when I would think that there would be less crowds and lesspressure to get the food out from the kitchen. Read more
