El Camino Cafe is a cute restaurant with a nice staff. My wife and I went for breakfast. I had the Chilaquiles with red sauce... and it was really good. I didn't know what to expect but I really enjoyed it. The outside patio is nice. What bothered me wasthat the menu outside the building and the menu inside had no prices. No idea of what you are getting into. We asked about thisand the person at the counter said we could ask her and she would look them up on the register. I think this will make peopleuncomfortable. I had the absolute worst experience here! The cashier with colored eyes who seems to be the owner is VERY RUDE. He started off... the ordering experience with a complete attitude. I really wanted to cancel my order but I had already been waiting for a longtime. I asked the lady who was seating us if she could move us to a table inside so she moves us to a high table inside andthat miserable guys yells at us saying how he doesn't want us to sit there and he had already scolded my daughter before this.Not worth the wait to deal with rude people who degrade you. We ended up leaving because he made us feel so uncomfortable.People in line also were complaining how rude they were being as well. Learn some manners if you're going to run a business. We give 1 star for the mimosa and Michelada and one star for Presentation. The El Camino omelette was not special, the fries... were overcooked and the potato taquitos were extremely burnt with no flavor and the rice was not quite done. Not worth wait inline and the pressure to know what we are going to order once you were allowed to walk in to order, the $50.00 we spent could ofbeen better spent at a more authentic Mexican food establishment. I have been going to this cafe for over 3 years now, and even while living in LA I choose to makethe drive for their tasty chilaquiles verdes & dirty horchata (with cafe de olla). My experience with the owners & all workershas been nothing short of delightful and attentive, all the time! I would strongly suggest taking the time to stop by forbreakfast or brunch!
