We did the afternoon tea here. For how hyped up this is, it was a bit underwhelming. Afternoon tea is only outside. It was cute... layout, but it was a pretty warm outside, making it a bit unpleasant to drink hot tea. Once we got the tea, we we?re surprisedand disappointed to see them using bagged tea vs loose leaf tea. The frozé was nice! The macaroons were barely ok. Service wasgood. I was very much looking forward to this, as they're always booked 3 months out. Finally got to partake in their much hyped... afternoon tea and was quite underwhelmed. The service was prompt. We were seated right away, I would hope so for a reservation Imade a quarter of a year ahead. The patio seating was uncomfortable- very hot and there were wooden benches where my daughterssat and I believe my chair was cushioned. That would have been forgiveable had the food selection stood out. They all soundedwonderful in description, but the quality was 2 stars at my most generous. Macarons were bone dry and flavorless. Scones wereserved with butter instead of clotted cream. Sandwiches were very basic. I would not return and will actively tell everyone Ilike to not go there. My total was about $120 for one adult and two children and I felt like I threw out money. Would haveenjoyed a meal at South of Nick's or Cheesecake Factory better. Cafe and boutique were wonderful. Cafe staff were wonderful, but boutique staff were rude. We were looking at dresses and a... staff member pushed us out of the way, without an excuse me, to grab a dress we were looking at so another customer can have it. Read more
Truly loved our flights of lattes and milk teas, pastries and macarons. The order of the lattes/milk teas were out of order, but... it didn't matter since they were all so delicious and we regretted now getting a full size before leaving. My reservation was yesterday, 10/9/2022 at 3 p.m. Make sure to make a reservation since they have limited space for their tea... time/party. Customer service was superb and they were out of their popular teas. My partner had the Earl Grey tea and I had thethe tea that was supposed to taste like citrus and it did(it was refreshing). The tea were good but nothing it off the ordinary.We loved their chicken sandwiches. The cucumber one with mint was alright and their salmon sandwiches were decent. The sconeswere alright, not my favorite. The macaroons looked so pretty but it wasn't the best I've had. The salted Caramel puddingdessert things were alright and the vegan donuts were good in comparison to other vegan donuts I've had which says a lot, sincethe ones I've tried elsewhere were terrible and too dry. The cost for two was $80 ish give or take, depending on whether youdecide to upgrade and order other items but our tea party was just the basic one.
