I've been coming here for years on my way from Toronto to Ottawa and any time I can pass... through here when they're open I do so and get their hot roast beef sandwich. After listening to some of the reviews, we were anticipating a long wait and high priced food....but we were delighted that this... was wrong. The food great. Have to say it was pricey but you get what you pay for, and the wait wasn't that long at all. Theveal cutlet was done perfectly. I strongly urge people not to support Kelly?s restaurant. The wait staff (or owners?) were extremely unprofessional, rude and... unsympathetic. We ordered our food at approximately 1:00PM on a Friday afternoon, we received our food pretty close to 2:00PM.We had 2 adults over 70 and 3 children under 10 traveling with us. We were starving. I politely asked a few times during ourhour long wait where our food was. I was rudely and dismissively told that there were people ahead of us. That was not true. Myhungry family watched in desperation as tables seated after us ordered their food, received their food and then left! The foodat Kelly?s was decent, but pricey. The homemade bread they used for buns was pretty good. But, the wait, the attitude and theoverall experience was just terrible and I think that people should be aware of this before choosing to dine at Kelly?s. Read more

Kelly's is a great surprise! The food has a nice homemade quality and in each visit I have made has delivered on taste. There is... a good depth of menu choices, much of which is classic comfort foods. It is not a very big restaurant and is often prettyfull. My only complaint is that generally it takes a good while to get your food. So keep in mind that you might need a goodhour plus to get your burger and eat it. It moves at a slow pace but that also can be part of the charm. Read more
