Menu for Anchor Inn Hotel in Twillingate, NL

Checked in late (9pm) after a long drive but staff were there to greet us (I had called earlier to let them know). Stayed in a... large room with two comfy beds and a mini fridge in the annex (house on the hill). Had a beautiful deck overlooking TwillingateHarbour where we enjoyed our morning tea. Didn?t really walk anywhere but Long Point Lighthouse was a quick 8 min drive as wasAuk Island Winery in Durrell. Stopped at some craft shops, talked to the friendly (and informative) locals, and picked up somegreat souvenirs. Highly recommended! Read more

We loved the Anchor Inn! The rooms were charming, beds comfortable, Georgie's restaurant was delicious with amazing views. The... live music in the pub was so fun, and the Blue Barrel Cafe was a delight. Easy to walk wherever we needed to go, and the staffwere all so lovely. Read more

A lovely hotel with a restaurant ND pub. Convenient for access to surrounding attractions. Wonderful warm and helpful staff.

We expected a room at the Anchor Inn. Instead we were sent to the Alphabet Fleet. The staff at the Alphabet Fleet says that... there are lots of people who expected to be at the Anchor end up at the Alphabet Fleet because their website is deceiving andapparently, according to the staff, the owner refuses to fix it. Why would they - they get more rooms booked. The AlphabetFleet Inn is landlocked, so No water scenery. No air conditioning (during hot, muggy nights) so we were miserable from lack ofsleep. No security because we had to leave the window open and anyone could have entered the room through the window. The ONLYreason they get a two star instead of one star is because the staff at the Alphabet were friendly. Read more
