Great staff and top-notch brisket sandwich. Fried pickles were perfectly cooked too.. they were a little bit of a salt-bomb for... my taste (it was tough to finish the enormous portion!), but if you can take the salt they really are a delight. Read more
I've had GREAT BBQ. I lived in Louisville, KY, and have family in KC, where we visit frequently and have awesome BBQ. Smokey... Bone is good...not great. The ribs were well-seasoned, but overdone...they were crunchy. The fried pickles were too salty, butwere still good. The Brisket was AWESOME...well-seasoned and juicy. Best thing on the menu for sure. Price-point...too high.But what can I say? Biden's America is driving every price up too high. I'd be happy to pay for dinner there every once in awhile and look forward to paying different prices when we have a different prez. Read more
The service was awful and incredibly off putting by how rude and careless they were. I would not return for this reason... alone. The price for the 2 meat/2 side platter is definitely overpriced and the quality and amount is not worth $30 (the sidesare all low cost and small, if should not cost that much). The coleslaw, fries, fry sauce, cornbread were all good sides. Thesliced bread was pointless, not even toasted. The Mac and cheese was not good I took one bite and didn?t want the rest. Notenough BBQ sauce and I wish there were different sauce options included. The brisket was really good, tender and had a greatcrispy outside. This place is yum!! Decent variety on the menu and fair sized portions. I enjoyed everything I got while my moms burger buns... were very burnt (I had seen another review say this as well, so maybe its what they do?) but overall the atmosphere had plentyof comfortable seating and had very friendly staff. The food here used to be amazing back when it was at their old location in the little building. But now, the quality has gone... done for the price your paying. We bought the brisket nachos and 10 wings from them last night. The nacho cheese was cold andcongealed together ???? the brisket meat was cold and very hard to chew. Now the wings, no flavor at all. We ordered 5 Buffaloand 5 Parmesan garlic. The Buffalo tasted like it was just tossed in tabasco sauce and the Parmesan garlic tasted heavily ofsalt, no Parmesan or garlic flavor at all. We were giving it another try after the last 3 times of giving them another try overthe past 4 months. The quality or care for their food just isn?t there anymore. Read more
