Arrived at about 9am. Was greeted and seated promptly. My last visit was about 5 years ago. Our waitress Vickie, promptly... took our drink and helped us with recommendations. We were served our drinks and breakfast was served in less than 10 minutes. The meal exceeded our expectations. Jim, our cashier was also courteous and asked if breakfast was good. What a great Cracker Barrel! The staff was friendly and made us feel welcomed. That always makes for the start of a great... meal. Our server took great care of us, we never had to wait for anything. Cracker Barrel has tasty food. On this occasion, I enjoyed the "Veggie Plate" with dumplins, cornbread, pintos, and potatoes... with brown gravy. Kids meals: Mac & Cheese, and the Chicken Strips with the tastiest Steak Fries. We also had thecream-cheese-filled pancakes, which were the BEST. They serve Breakfast all day, which is awesome. This restaurant is near I-20in Lindale, so it tends to be pretty crowded and the servers are extra busy, but they have always been kind. Their gift shop isfull of cool gifts. Read more
