Menu for Pluvio restaurant and rooms in Ucluelet, BC

Truly one of my favourite places to stay and easily my favourite restaurant. This was our second time staying at Pluvio, we... first came in April and loved it so much we came back again and stayed for 4 nights. The whole experience was amazing from thebeautiful rooms, incredible atmosphere and service, exceptional food and drinks menu. We?ve have both the tasting menu and 3course and there?s not a bad word to say. Everything was perfect and the wine pairing for the tasting menu matched perfectly.You can even add extra snacks to your meal if you choose, which is hard not to do every time as they are unforgettable. Theprice for the menu if great for the quality and portions. Every staff member is welcoming and friendly they know the menu likethe back of their hand. One of the best meals we?ve ever had. Beautifully prepared and perfectly cooked food. Cocktails were well balanced and perfectly... poured. Service was impeccable and the extra care they showed because I?m lactose intolerant was very much appreciated. You cantell everyone that works there really cares about what they do and the experience that you are having. Pluvio restaurant is truly one of the best dining experiences in the world. My husband and I went there again last night and we... were remarking on how, of all the restaurants we have eaten in the world (and there have been many spectacular establishmentsthat we have been privileged to eat in, some with Michelin stars) this is truly our favourite. The food, the flavours, thepresentation, the atmosphere, the gracious service are all unbeatable. Last night was a memorable feast for our senses. A top flight dining experience for our anniversary. We were greeted by the owner on arrival and our server Kate was personable... and efficient. The food was fun, delicious and beautifully plated. The sommelier helped us choose from a well thought out winelist. It was a lovely evening and I got the feeling that whether you showed up in a tux or jeans they would take good care ofyou. By far the best 3 course meal I?ve ever had. Not only are the flavours there, the presentation is art on a plate. The vibe is... relaxed and cozy and unpretentious for such quality food. The service impeccable. The meal end with a homemade truffle afterdesert. Great wine selection. It is truly a culinary experience you won?t want to miss if you visit the area.
