We have driven by a few times but had never tried it. A friend invited us to an Octoberfest celebration they had. We had a... great time. The food wasn't their normal food. They were serving German themed food to go with the Octoberfest and all thealcohol was brewed in Maine. We had a great time. The food and music were great. People were dancing and laughing. They hada contest to see who could hold up a storm of beer the longest. It was a great time had by all. Well done folks. Keep it up. Read more

I was hopeful to leave a stellar review for this place based on local recommendations - this review is based on service alone as... we, unfortunately, did not end up eating there. My husband and I arrived just after 6:15pm, we were seated a few minutes later, and then about 10 min after we sat down, the waitress came over to take our order. We ordered our food and asked for the checkat the waitress's earliest convenience as we were trying to get to the nearby brewery by 7:30 since they closed at 8pm (as didthe restaurant). We got water and drinks right away; time passed and the waitress never checked in on us again. After about 30min, we noticed that all of the tables had turned over since we arrived but no food had been brought out. Once 45 min had passedsince we ordered, we flagged the waitress over to ask how much longer it would be. She apologized and gave several excuses ofbeing under staffed; we asked her to check on our order and said if it hadn't been started yet, we'd like to close out (it wasnow 7:15pm, an hour after we had arrived). I totally understand being understaffed and am sympathetic of that. However, in the45 min after we ordered, no one checked in to see if we needed more drinks or to let us know things were taking longer becausethey were down a cook. I feel the customer service could have been much better even if they were understaffed - a simple "I'msorry things are taking so long, can I get you anything else?" would have gone a long way. We ended up ordering pizza from theplace next door and taking it to the brewery, both of which were fantastic. Would love to give this place another shot if we'reever in Union again. Read more

My husband and I grabbed take out from here while in town visiting from Chicago and? holy smokes. The dishes are incredibly... creative and well-executed. We started with the bang bang mushrooms, which I will now dream about on a nightly basis. For ourmains, we had the soyaki stir fry with tofu (incredible, some of the best marinated tofu I?ve had) and the fish tacos (????).Swapped fries for the street corn potato salad and had zero regrets. Pretty sweet place. We were staying about 15 minutes away at a B&B and found this nearby. The bang bang mushrooms were... awesome! Fish and chips and the southern fried chicken stack were also good. Decent selection of beer as well, and good music. Read more
