If I could give zero stars I would. Literally somehow this place managed to give us huge chunks of chicken fat in or butter... chicken. We kept spitting out large chunks of it. Our go-to spot for AYCE Indian food. Been coming to this location since it was called 'Favorite Indian' and for all intents and... purposes, 'Great India' provides more of the same. If anything, the naan-to-table speed has improved. Of course, can't speak forauthenticity, but really can't go wrong with the likes of biryani, tikka masala, fish pakora, and a little mango soft servepost-meal. All while Indian music videos play from the TVs! My vegetarian friend did inform me that she hasn't seen the vegbiryani since the switch - a blow for vegetarians, but maybe not for the meat-eater among us. Read more

This was the worst Indian food I have ever had. If I could give this place a NEGATIVE 5 STARS I would. I ordered the butter... chicken, garlic naan, and rice and it was completely tasteless just bland. I was wondering why the cashier was laughing after Iplaced my order, now I know the food here is disgusting. The green chutney was full of hot peppers and nasty I refused to trythe other sauces. Great India has replaced Favorite Indian restaurant. Favorite had been a pretty reliable option for us, so I was curious about... the replacement. Overall, the place is almost completely the same. The interior is unchanged, and it still retains much ofthe Favorite Indian signage - they even kept the old phone number. The weekend buffet was about the same - it felt like therewas slightly less oil, a welcome improvement. There appeared to be a family running it, at least the people working thereweren't the same as previously. Taking a peek at the regular menu, it looks like largely similar, but they've added a fewitems. It also appears that they've increased prices by $1, and perhaps they don't include rice with orders. Overall, willhave to try out their non-buffet options to see how the food has changed. Read more
