I started this review while I was in the restaurant, we arrived and were told it was a 15 minute wait, it ended up being about 5... minutes. Which was great, however We sat at the table waiting for an additional 15 -20 minutes while a server sat at a tablenearby counting money. The server counting the money finally came by and offered. We asked why did it take so long, she said shewas off the clock, but she still tried to take the drink order after we had already waited 20 minutes. Why offer to help ifyou?re off??? She then called for the server that was working that table and she said she didn?t know that was her table/hersection. My friend told the server that was off to not help since she was off the clock. She hadn?t helped since we had beenseated and had walked past us a number of times, why offer to help now? We gave the order to the server that was actuallyassigned to our table. The server took the order, the order was correct except the Cali Roasted Turkey Melt that should havebeen served with fries with the side of pancakes, cause that?s what she wanted, instead she was told she could have only 1 sideitem, as if IHOP doesn?t have a separate side of pancakes. I ordered a spicy poblano fajita bowl, it was not hot, it was roomtemperature like it had been sitting for a while before it was brought out. I thought the food that was being eaten in therestaurant would have come out first and as we finished up our meal the food that was being ordered to go, would have beenbrought out. Overall we were there for almost an hour and a half. No we did not tip, because the service was not good and thefood wasn?t all that good. Take pride in your service so that a tip will be deserved.
