I live in an apartment building and usually order from this place twice a month. Today I tried to order and the lady who... answered the phone got mad and hung up because one of my neighbors tried to order earlier I guess (I gave everyone in thebuilding their number because I love the pizza) so she said I tried to play her by trying to place my order. I tried explainingto her that I live in an apartment building and gave the number to my neighbors and I don?t have anything to do with whateverthey?re ordering. She continued to get loud and nasty on the phone. I tried telling her to check the call log to see that I onlycalled the one time we spoke. I even offered my apartment letter so that she knows it?s a different person. I told her that Icall for the same order using the same card twice every month and her response was to start yelling before hanging up thephone. Vera pizza used to be my favorite place. It's really ugly the way they try to rip you off here. They say the menu prices have changed and use that as an excuse to try to... give you as little as possible for as much as they can charge. Why can't they print new menus if the prices have changed? Idon't like to leave bad reviews, but I feel like I have to give a bad review as an obligation because of how stingy anddishonest they are here. It's very dishonest and on the level of thievery to try and charge people absurdly high prices and thenhope customers won't notice when they're not even given all the food that they've been overcharged for. If there's any justicein the universe, this place will go out of business because of all the customers they've ripped off here. Read more
