I don?t know how I?ve never done a review on this delicious restaurant. My family has been coming here for years and the food... has never lost quality or taste. Friendly farm has the BEST crab cake and chicken out there! The crab cake is alllump?literally! The chicken is fresh and fried to perfection and not greasy. Everything is served family style with deliciousappetizers such as my personal favorites the sugar biscuits and fried apples. The dinner sides are also family style includingfries, fresh corn, and green beans. And we can?t forget about the ice cream dessert with many flavors to choose from. The staffare always nice too! Still one of the best Crab Cakes around. Nothing fancy here, so don't look for it. It's just good food served with a smile in... the Country. I got the Surf and Turf and the steak comes bare naked but is very flavorful. I popped some salt, pepper, and somebitter on it and it did the trick. These crab cakes are the best I've ever had! They were at a good price with all you can eat sides. The blueberry cheesecake ice... cream was excellent. The server was attentive and the restrooms were very clean. Be sure to notice the jams and jellies as wellas the baked goods out front. The best lemon meringue pie I've ever had too! I?m not really sure how to adequately describe how DELICIOUS literally EVERYTHING was! The chicken was likely the best fried... chicken I?ve ever had. The sides. THE BREAD! Do your best to not fill up before they bring your entrée! And I mean good luck.Maybe don?t try the apple butter and then you may stand a chance at not filling up before dinner. This is comfort food at its best. If you go home hungry, you're too picky to eat here. The sides are endless and served "family... style". The sugar biscuits are addictive. The coleslaw is fine cut & slightly sweet. The apple butter goes great with thecottage cheese & I'm told the beets are great. The French fries are hot and crisp and there are bowls of sweet corn and countrystyle green beans. The chicken is 10 out of 10 and the baked egg plant is terrific. This time I added the jumbo shrimp stuffedwith crab meat and I wasn't disappointed. Make reservations for large parties and get there early, because they close early andthe fresh baked deserts out in the waiting area will all be gone and you will be sad that you missed them.
