Wonderful little place on the Rappahannock River. We were the only customers there at 11a - late season. I had the 'last' of... the soft shell crabs, which were delicious! And my husband and I ate 2-doz of the best Rappahannock Oysters...they were huge andwere just perfect. Our wait person (name forgotten VA-Tech grad) was chatty, informative and delightful to talk with. Wheneverwe are in the area...this will be a must stop and eat and take in the River and the fresh and wonderful seafood. Read more
Well, the atmosphere was nice, the scenery was beautiful. Now far as the food, the fried oysters were terrible. The fish an... huss puppies were good. The shrimp was either old or cooked to long, they didn't peel to well. The crab were ok. A little slowon service and not enough help. Poor waiter was beside himself trying to keep it all together.
