They catered to me... while I was travelling through, and I needed something to eat, but everything else was closed in the neighboring towns. The food was great. Had the Cantonese Chow Mein and a homemade lemonade. The staff were super friendly and put up with my kids... even though I was having a really hard time dealing with a 3 yr old who obviously thought Grasslands national park was the mostboring place on earth and needed to rebel against anything and everything. They were cash only (not sure if the machine wasdown or that's a regular thing) but have an ATM on site. Read more
I only give it one star because there are no minus quantities. We should have noted that it was rated the best of two places,... the other being closed. Nowhere on all the reviews did it say Cash Only. Only once in the place, which was dark, dank and mostuninviting, with a surly lady who would not allow my service dog, dressed as required in his jacket and harness, on thepremises. Is that even legal in Saskatchewan. Regardless we left the off putting and uninviting environment and had awonderful meal at Springs Garden Restaurant in Swift Current. Read more

Stopped for lunch on a Saturday, ordered 2 dinner for one. The food was tasty for small town Chinese food. We got 12 beer off... sale..total was$ 80.00. Looks a little run down but thats the nature of a town in South Saskatchewan. Pretty good selection, though not safe for the... vegans! We had 2 club sandwiches w/ fries and a bowl of wonton soup. Its hard to mess up a Club sandwich, and the VMH deliveredwell on that front. The fries have a nice crisp outer and were as expected on the inside. Would have again. The soup was great,seemed quite fresh and was prepared nicely. Definitely recommend trying it. Service was friendly and prompt, water check upswould be nice!
