So my friend, my service dog, and I try to meet here a couple times a month. Mostly for coffee and treats. Today surprisingly... there was hardly any one there, so I was served right away. Not only are their baked goods made super fresh they will addtopings to it. The iced Chi Latte is to die for! My only complaint is that they don't have big enough cups for it. Yes it'sthat good. Not only did the owner bag the treats up for us, but he carried them to the table! Given that I'm mobilitychallanged I appreciate that so much! We will be back to try their dinners one day soon. I rarely rate anything a 5 star! This is a comfortable inviting eatery. You order and pay at the counter. There is a rare... window into the kitchen. (SPOTLESS) The service is friendly and prompt. I orderd a small container of the soup of the dayportobello cream soup. It was thick, flavorful and had many large (but manageable) pieces of obviously fresh mushrooms. It wasperfectly seasoned. I almost didn't want to eat my half of the meatball sub I split with my sister but; I am so glad I did!This is a bakery so it goes without saying the bread was perfect. It was crunchy and a little bit flaky but heavenly light.It was the perfect companion for the tender juicy lightly sauced meatballs. The bread soaked up a little sauce without falling apart making it a relatively neat sandwich to eat. The sauce was perfectly balanced. Not too sweet or salty or acidic just delicious. The cheese was of a good quality so it stretched and released with each bite. It actually tasted good andadded tothe overall quality and depth of the sandwich. ( not the one bite and it's hanging out of your mouth variety here). I had a piece of chocolate cake with cannolli filling. It rivaled any bakery in NY or NJ that I have ever had . .andthat's saying alot. Someone loves this business and the community it's in. There's a large chalkboard for dreams as youenter ( a puppy..to marry so and so..own an ice cream shop). There is also an area with pre-paid meal vouchers taped to thechalkboard stating take one if you need to. Who wouldn't want to eat here. It's all about the love. Read more
We stopped in here for a quick snack on a road trip and now it's a staple. The overfilled donuts are so good. Like, so good!... I've also had the bagels and a few of the sandwiches, and it's all amazing. The other thing I loved about this place was thetiny kid's toilet in the restroom, its directly across and facing the full size toilet. It makes me laugh everytime I see it.Sadly, no one wants to sit with me in there! Read more

So I called weekend before last and ordered a carrot cake for my services dogs 1st Birthday. ( yes were those people) We... picked it up last weekend and forgot to tell them to write happy birthday on it. The baker already put the carrots in icing onit so there was no room for it, but they put a purple number 1 on it! Her collar when she was born was purple. ( also myfavorite color ) We never asked Old World Bakery to put that color on it, but they did! Thank you so much Old World bakery formaking our day! We will be back for coffee and treats soon!
