From the very beginning to the very end, you will receive the service and accommodations you would expect from a top tier resort... and will be treated like a VIP for the duration of your stay. When you arrive, they will have staff collect your luggage andload your golf bag on a cart. Valet will park your car and in just minutes after arrival you can be on one of two driving rangespreparing for your rounds. We golfed 36 holes the first day and 18 holes the second day. The course was in great shape and theviews were amazing. The courses were difficult, but very enjoyable even for the average golfer. The course layout does a nicejob of placing the tee boxes to increase or decrease the level of difficulty so that golfers of different calibers can bechallenged, but still enjoy the course. The courses had halfway houses on each course to refuel on food and beverages. The cartscome equipped with GPS, which was helpful to know yardages to any of the hundreds of bunkers you didn?t want to hit into. At theend of the day, we simply dropped our cart off and the golf staff wiped off our clubs, cleaned the cart, and refreshed thecooler with waters and ice so we would be ready for the next morning. The lodge has a few different dining areas and all thefood is delicious. After dinner, enjoy a cigar on one of the many patios or a drink at the bar. The property offers manydifferent types of rooms. I stayed in the lodge with a friend, but each of us had our own room and shared a bathroom between thetwo rooms. The rooms were small, but the bed and sheets were perfect after a long day on the course. Truly, I did not spend muchtime in the room, so it was everything I needed. Some of our group stayed in the bunkhouse rooms, which were much larger and hada nice patio area to take in the scenery. On our second day we packed up and left our suitcases in the room for staff to keepthem in storage while we finished our round. By the time we got done with golf, our cars were waiti Read more

Two lovely golf courses, but their set up with a windy milieu, high speeds and heavy contours is a recipe for slow play. I... stayed in the bunkhouse which was adequate and its detached character was a plus, but I had to change my first room because itreeked of smoke. There is another larger ritzier building of the same concept. Staff is great Read more

This was my 4th trip as a guest to The Prairie Club, and every time I leave more impressed. The golf courses are in amazing... condition, and both are extremely fun to play. The food service and hospitality is always great. We had a large group and theytook great care of us. I would highly recommend a trip with friends or business, its worth the drive! Read more

Hands down best golfing experience of my life. The course was challenging and kept up beautifully. A midway house can keep you... going with snacks and drinks on either side of the 36 hole facility. The pines or dunes experience will keep you mesmerized byeither a rolling hills background or rock and tree scape that makes you feel like your deep in the Colorado Rockies. Pro staffand restaurant staff are all extremely pleasant, helpful and professional. The rooms were rich in color and quality. I can?twait to go back some time soon. Read more

A friend and I were looking for a place we could travel equal distances to meet up for several days of golfing. I drove west... and he drove east and Valentine NE looked to be near the center and the reviews looked very good. We played 36 holes on theDunes on the first day and 18 on the Pines the second day and we both agreed these were probably the most scenic and wellmaintained courses we had ever played. My GPS showed we traveled about 13 miles in the cart for 18 holes and I believe it sincethe distance from green to the next tee was quite long. I would definitely recommend both of these courses and I'm sure you willbe taking your own photos. Read more
