First time to try Ukrainian food and it turns out good. The lady is very friendly and explained everything I asked patiently.... Borshch is good, not creamy or heavy. Stuffed cabbage is also good! Read more
Excellent pleasant service! The young woman who helped me was patient with my many questions (Lana I think?). I am not Russian... or Eastern European background but have friend who are and got me interested in these foods and cultures. This was only mysecond visit and it is about a 30-40 minute drive each way but we'll worth it. Everything I have tried has been very fresh andtasty, even new foods that were unfamiliar to me, interesting to explore! They have recently added labels with names anddescriptions to each item in the large deli cases,, a big help for me.. I will have to plan more frequent trips in the future.Saturdays are naturally very busy so weekdays during the day is suggested for more relaxed exploring but even on my firstvisit (on a Saturday), they were very patient with my many questions. As others have mentioned, their beef stroganoff isamazing, cabbage rolls, many soups, Russian potato salad, can't go wrong. Update: I just visited again June 2022 andeverything above still applies. Very pleasant, patient and helpful staff again. I went during the week so zero wait. It isprobably good I live 25 miles away so I cannot easily visit more often (for my waistline)))) But they have a lot of vegetablebased foods and soups also so something for everyone! Read more
