Ribeye steak cooked just right, Mexican chicken w/ mashed potatoes and a side of carrots was fantastic, wings got polished off,... Nice, relaxing atmosphere. My grilled salmon and rice pilaf we're delicious! I loved the sauce on the salmon. Food didn't come... out real quick, but that was actually kind of refreshing. This place is pretty good. Have had a good portion of the entrees on the menu. The cattle man's burger is good, the cattle man's... chicken sandwich is a really good one. The half chicken is usually really good. The chicken fried steak is good and the steaksand stuff are good as well. Decent beer selection. Prices are not bad. Especially for Van Horn, Texas. This is a good place to visit if you're in the area. The owner works hard to make sure folks have a really good food experience... and everything is made to order. This place has a bar inside. If you like BBQ, ribs or alcohol steer clear from this spot and go anywhere else in town. Truly one of the worst services... alongside food I've had in a long time. The waitress was absolutely no help and actually quite rude. Their $20 baby back ribplate came with a tiny portion of 4 ribs, and some of the toughest and worst ribs I've ever had. FOUR TINY RIBS, who ordersribs and wants 4 tiny overcooked & untender ribs! And their drinks taste like they have nothing inside them, just sugar. Trulyone of the worst experiences I've had on the road in a while. Was excited to try a small town little steakhouse BBQ but thisplace is not worth it.
