Best coffee I had in Vancouver but horrible service. It was my first time in there and the guy in the front was visibly annoyed... when I was asking about what type of breads they had. He was being annoyed with the clients and quite rude with the barista guy(the talk man) that was just trying to help. I ended up not getting any bread. It?s fresh bread heaven. Our family shops here regularly and it is consistently delicious. We love it all, especially the epi.... It rarely makes it home as we break pieces off and devour them on the trip home. You could poke someone?s eye out with thatdelicious pointed loaf. Crunchy on the outside and soft and yielding in the inside. The pizza (when they have it) is delicioustoo. A wonderful small business with friendly staff. I want to like this bakery and have gone quite a few times to see if I can change my mind, but it's unfortunately the same every... single time. This last time was definitely the last. The food is ok, but it's the service which is extremely bad. The guybehind the counter is super rude and it's clear that he does not want to be there. Try Aphrodites or the Blenz next door - muchbetter food and way better service. Read more
