A wonderful place to visit! Very full on a Saturday night, but staff were top notch - every order was correct in our party of 7... people (gratuity was included). The BC Blazer was so tasty, and while I wouldn't get a cocktail from here again, the food wasdefinitely worth the price. I will say though, that the washrooms could use a clean and on the way to them I noticed a fire exitthat was completely blocked with items. Read more
I’ve been coming here for years (almost 20 years come to think of it lol) since I was a teenager haha. While there’s a new... owner now and he has added to the decor especially from the ceiling and opened/expanded both patios which is great, he alsoadded a few really great new food items such as my fave beef gyu don that has a runny soft egg in the centre and is perfect forsharing. The foie gras sushi is also AMAZING and my fave item to order. Lastly you cannot beat the $0.99 per oyster during happyhour (3-5pm) and which I love to bring colleagues here for! I also love their salmon sashimi and blue fin tuna choices on hand.Another favourite is ordering the take sake double, which you get two 300mL each bottles for 17.99 total. Overall a great sushiplace downtown with very friendly staff and great manager (Vivi!). Today the manager asked if I wanted to buy their 15% offannual membership for $30 as I come pretty often so I did because my meal offset some of the costs of the membership already. Ialso bring coworkers here and the shots on the back of drinks page come in a set of 4 which is PERFECT for a small group andthere’s so much variety (Burt Reynolds, Red Dragons, etc.), highly recommended to have happy hour here with coworkers! DIRTY plates and MOLDY beer pitcher. After we told the waitress, the table next to us saw worms in their oysters. We ate some... earlier.. This place apparently use to be good. We had inquired with some locals and the feedback was consistent in that we try Ebisu. The sushi is fresh, the atmosphere is... wonderful and the staff are friendly.
