I haven't been here since before the pandemic and while there have been some changes, the food is still pretty good and I was... greeted by friendly staff when I arrived. You can still customize your bowls for an extra $1-2 which I recommend doing as Iquite like their red pepper dip. Definitely worth checking out if you get the chance! Read more
This location use to be great. After the new system went into place and the workers changed everything has gone downhill. Their... portions use to be alot larger as well, I understand that the prices have gone up but sometimes the staff aren't even fillingthe bowls up, left with tons of space. It takes forever to get your food as well sometimes, as others have mentioned. I use tobe able to order half and half and now with this new menu everything is set in stone. From a 4 star to a 3 star for me,hopefully the owners can read all the feedback people are providing and make this location great again. Edited: August2022 After the recent changes at the location. The size of the food portions have become ridiculously small. My bowl isliterally half full now and no where close to what it was from my initial experience. Visited Jamjar on Nov. 9th @ 5:30, the staff on that shift was super friendly. I planned to order customized bowl with beef at... the first place but he recommended the chicken shawarma which I ended up enjoying a lot! The chicken was marinated with the justright amount of spices, tender and flavorful especially delicious when pairing with the yogurt on top. The mint dip wasrefreshing but my favorite was the red pepper, very nice sweet and smoky flavor. The pickles were great too (if ur into sourstuff). He also offered my friend and I freshly made Falafel to try and that was divinely! Crispy on the outside and soft insidewith nice aroma of the spice, not oily at all! Looking forward to order the falafel bowl next time! The portion was large thatfeed me another meal the next day! Very rare for campus food! Read more
