Okay here goes, it has taken me a few days to digest my feelings going to this restaurant. Jess is truly one of the BEST... restaurants I have been to Vancouver par none. I didn't eat there I had an EXPERIENCE! IT IS A HIDDEN ????! My friend took methere and it was 5th time and they told me I would never forget it and I definitely won't and now it it my go to for all specialoccasions. Our server Adam was beyond exceptional. He remembered detail like nothing I have ever seen. He remembered allthere last visits, what they ate, where they sat and what they drank. Amazing! All dishes were huge, made to perfection, cameout like art, he staggered them so we could enjoy our time there and digest, cleared each course brought new course settings,all the while made us feel very special. Please note, all cutlery and dishes are beautiful and not standard run of the millrestaurant fair dishes etc. I was also so impressed with their bathrooms. Beautifully appointed and luxurious. Please note ifyou are a dessert person you note be disappointed. There pastry chef from what I understand has worked in a Michelin starrestaurant and their work speaks for itself and tastes like it. They also do a high tea in the day which is very reasonable andI can't wait to go and try it. Oh and if your a pork belly person......well all I will say is will be blown your sock away. Everything was so yummy! Such a cute spot for date night <3 My favourite appy was the scallops and the oysters were super... fresh. The smoked duck was such a cool presentation and tasted good too! You also have to order the mousse cake for dessert itwas so cute and yummy. Overall such a great time! Read more
I visited for my birthday ! The inside atmosphere was so modern and pretty ???? 100% IG worthy! The food was great and the... staff were super friendly ! Adam has a great sense of humor. Absolutely must try!!! I found this place almost by accident while trying to find a last min as our other reservation was... cancelled due to the restaurant closing all of a sudden due to the covid outbreak. So glad because it was one of the bestexperiences!!! The decor is very elegant and pretty and the service out of this world. Our server Celine, hope it’s the rightspelling, was one of the best. Everything she recommended was good. She was honest and real. The cocktails and the foodabsolutely heavenly, and the dessert wow so good. The cheesecake and the tiramisu must try. We ordered the vongole andsablefish as well as the motoyaki and hamachi as appetizers, as per our servers recommendation and I have to say she knows herstuff. The mains were so very well done as well. Can’t wait to come back to try all of the other items on their menu. Thankyou for an amazing experience. ???? We were so excited to go there but disappointed. Timing was off, everyone appetizer came at different times, onion soup had... an unappealing layer of oil on top and the risotto was far from appetizing (look and flavour-wise). On the positive side, thecocktails and wine choice were great, so were the oysters and the deserts. Service was also great, very attentive team and greatattention to detail by all servers!
