I love this place and would go every month if it wouldn't make me so fat ???? it's my favorite all you can eat sushi in... Vancouver. The special rolls are included and they're excellent. The servers are all super friendly and prompt. You may have thetypical experience, as with other form-based AYCE, that things that you ordered don't arrive, but the servers are always happyto fix it. When I arrived it seemed like a very upscale Korean BBQ. It was a Thursday night and absolutely packed. The waitress found us a... small table to the right of the staircase. Like in other reviews, it is hard to get the attention of the wait staff, and it canbe difficult to know what you are ordering if you're a newbie to Korean BBQ as the menu does not have pictures. But maybe I havebeen to many mediocre Korean BBQ's but the meat and sushi were hands down the best I have had so far for an all you can eatKorean BBQ. The meat was seasoned very well and the portions per serving were perfect. The only time I've ever had meat seasonedthat well was at a real Korean BBQ restaurant where no one speaks any English. The sushi was good for an all you can eat spot. Ifind most places they serve the minimum quality but at Kyo you get what you are paying for. Which brings me to the price. Wecame for the Dinner, and it was the most expensive Korean BBQ I have ever been to. I believe it was 34.95 Per head, and whenpaying for four people, the bill adds up quickly. This place could be so much better if it could hire more waiting staff. The food is decent for an all you can eat place but the... service is something to be desired. I asked all 3 waiting staff on shift to change out my grilling plate, two of them twice. Itwasn't until I flagged the third person, who wasn't even servicing our table, to change out the now pitch black plate before itgot done. Meanwhile our meal was resting on the table because we couldn't grill it yet. I would not come back here. Read more
