I initially thought this was a fusion restaurant based on its decor but it?s a Taiwanese noodle bar in Chinatown. The beef... noodles were just ok - broth wasn?t very flavourful and the rest of the ingredients were mediocre. I enjoyed the fish cake andchicken nuggets a lot more. Heart and Soul was poured into making an impression for Taiwanese Cuisine in Chinatown! The owner felt a missing that there is... NO good place to go for Taiwanese food in the hood; especially in Chinatown. Beef Noodle Soup is a must try; or if you arefeeling adventurous, try the Drunken Chicken Noodle Soup! The fried chicken steamed bun is damn amazing as are the taro fries. So spicy, crisp and tasty. I tasted my friend's beef noodle... bowl. We were told the broth is simmered 18 hours. It was a thick, rich beef broth with the loveliest green veg nestled in thatbeautiful broth. It was a melody for the mouth.
