This was probably the best restaurant that I ate at during my time in Vancouver. All the different katsus were so juicy,... probably as good as Japan and might I say possible even better? Only downside is that they have a policy where they won't seatyou until your entire party has arrived, even if it isn't busy. I arrived when it opened and my friends were running a fewminutes late so I had to stand outside even though there was no one else in the restaurant. I love this place. This was my first visit and we really enjoyed the delicious food. They give you unlimited soup and salad... along with your meal. We had such wonderful table service that is so rare nowadays. We will definitely be back. Read more
Saku is definitely one of my favourite restaurants to go to. My favourite is that they offer unlimited rice, soup, and salad... refills. Love the dressing for their shredded cabbage salad! My go to order is either their Rosu Katsu, Cheese Katsu, or EbiHotate (shrimp & scallop) Katsu. Price has definitely increased since we last went. However, service was still great andportions are pretty big. Also, just love dining their because of the clean aesthetic of the restaurant. P.S. Try to go theirearly or join their waitlist so you can get a seat faster. They want the whole party to be there before they can seat you. Read more
Saku never disappoints every time we go there. Their quality is consistent every time. First time ordering the Zenbu and would... recommend sharing between 2 people. Great way to sample different deep fried food. Great value compared to other dishes. Weadded $8 for extra set of rice and soup. The only reason for 4 stars is because their prices have gone up quite a bit. Read more
