Khob khun ka ????????? A local, family-ran Thai eatery boasting an authentic vibrant, flavorsome and mouth-drooling menu at... low-key fare off the strip. I hauled a lunch feast of the Crispy Tofu ??????? and Pad See Ew ????????? which was all incrediblyyummy, very well seasoned with a knockout peanut satay and oyster seasoning with huge plentiful portions. I totally dig the factthey use authentic dry Thai spices which is great, I got the spiciest level which was an extremely pleasant bit of heat to somesuper chowy yum noodles! This has been one of my best Thai Uber Eats experiences due to the flavor, amount of oil is a perfectamount for takeout. Support local businesses! Read more
By far, the most delicious thai food I've had in Vancouver --> yes, even better than the other institution across the road. The... curry, stir fry dishes and house made hot sauce have so much depth of flavour and fresh herbs. The portions are generous, andone entree will serve 2 people easily. Five star flavors, five star value - go with your friends and have a feast! I live in NewWest but will only go to this place for Thai food moving forward. Side note- I noticed this place has gotten low reviewsbecause it's too spicy. I will say that I've noticed that when I request "Thai spicy", they are hesitant to serve it. the painted walls were so great for taking pictures! The lady was so nice to serve us, and she made it on time! I love the... desert - tapioca in the coconut sauce. It was chewy that it may have filled me up with that dessert. And it melted in my mouthwith the gorgeous sauce that they set up. I have also ordered their special of the summer rolls. There was avocado and a choiceof meats that you want to pick. I ate one of them, and it was so interesting that it made me eat more. The recipe had a lot ofmixes in the spring roll. An underwhelming takeout meal from the restaurant. The Chicken with Peanut Sauce was bland, and the chicken was tough and dry.... The Thai Curry Fried Rice had a nice kick to it but with very little pork (I counted 5 small pieces). The Pad Thai was probablythe best part of the meal. I really wish one could rate individual items here because I have had some tofu dishes that I've liked, but was extremely... disappointed today. I got Tom Kah soup with tofu, which is one of my favorite thai dishes, however at this store it was sobland. It was like hot milk with no spicy ginger or curry flavor (even though I ordered medium spicy) and so weird with lotsinedible plant bits including really tough mushrooms that weren't cooked properly or bite size - I had to spit out those bitsand disappointed not really any actual other vegetables. Could not finish it it was so bad, would not order again. Needs moreflavor and bite size vegetables. Read more
