The Acorn is truly a vegan eaters paradise. The presentation of each dish was truly artistic while the taste and flavors were... outstanding. My wife and I absolutely loved this place. It is a short drive from downtown via Uber or Lyft. The restaurant hasoutside seating and is small so book your reservation in advance. We chose to go with the chef's menu rather than ordering a lacarte. This included a 9 course meal that allowed you to sample almost all of their wonderful dishes. We also had one of theircocktails (Acorn spritz) which was very light and flavorful. If you're a vegetarian or vegan, do not miss this hot dining spot! Read more
Great to see veggie restaurants taken up to another level! All very very original dishes. We asked for the all vegan tasting... menu and it was super pretty, beautifully presented and kindly served. The cocktail menu is super original too and the staffknowledgeable about all of them. The tasting menu is pretty intense though, portion size not small and recipes heavy on salt andfat. Make sure you're hungry and are a fan of intense flavors, no subtle flavors in this place! Read more
The Acorn! Brilliant ideas for veggie dishes. Being a vegetarian, it's always a struggle to find a good tasting menu restaurant... and boy The Acorn delivers! I'd also recommend it to my meat loving friends since I have finally experienced a place that doesjustice to Vegetables in their true form and brings out some unique flavors. Must try their innovative dishes and the servicestaff is also top class. The tasting menu concept here was also different since they do sharable plates for 2 vs serving eachindividual their own dish each time, which some people enjoy and some don't. Personally I like the sharing concept. The platingof each dish was immaculate and totally worthy of a 5-star experience. We paid $69 plus taxes per person for the chef's tastingmenu which is definitely worth it. Their reservations are through Tock and they sell out quickly so would recommend planning aweek or so ahead in case you're only in the city for a few days like we were. Holy moly - incredible food! We attended acorn for my 30th birthday and tried the tasting menu with wine pairing, what an... experience! Each course was meticulously crafted and absolutely delicious. As a vegetarian I appreciated the unique use ofingredients and flavours to create the variety of courses. Also, the stress of having to choose what eat was completely takenaway as the chef chooses for you, ha! Each course the staff offered an explanation of the wine pairing which was greatlyappreciated as well. They don?t seem to offer anything in particular for birthdays if you?re someone looking for a candle,glass of bubbly, etc to celebrate your occasion? but overall a great experience. Read more

Acorn was a culinary delight! We got really lucky to have found a bar seating on a fully booked weekend! The menu was elaborate... & we opted the chefs tasting menu, and oh boy, was it exquisite? Every ingredient was locally sourced & stirred up toperfection! Staff was incredibly courteous & more than willing to offer recommendations. Acorn is an experience. Read more
