My friend and I popped in for a nightcap and a snack after a show on Saturday. We were seated and waited around a half hour with... no service, not even a drink order, so we just left. I’ve never done that in a restaurant before, and I’ve been to a lot ofrestaurants. It looked like they had this weird system where you order online, which I’ve never seen before. It would havebeen totally fine if our server notified us of this process so that we weren’t just sitting there — it’s not intuitive.I’ve never been to a restaurant that does that, so some clarification would have been nice. Also — the online orderingdidn’t even work, which was the final straw for us and prompted us to leave. And my friend and I are both fine withtechnology, so it wasn’t us. It was a bit hot inside because no AC when it’s really hot day but this drinks make us happy and cool down.
Great place for a pint and a game of pool. I'm reliably informed by the people that I frequent the place with that they have... some pretty good wine options. My only complaint is that they need to bring back the painting of Maggie Thatcher. It was funny. Read more
After ordering some drinks and trying to enjoy them, we were constantly asked if we want more drinks every 5-10 minutes. Andreea... kept interrupting our conversation and we could not make any sense of this behaviour. It was a Tuesday night around 10pm and theplace was already empty. We had to ask for the bill halfway our drinks and left because of this disturbing behaviour. Will nevergo and not recommend the place. Read more
