I like this location it?s very big! I came to try their fall specials the fillet Wellington. It was good but I found mine a bit... over done but it was still very tender. It definately didn?t look like the photo in the advertisement in the email but I likehow the keg has feature menu items. The server I had was friendly but she left us hanging for a long time when we were ready forour bill. Read more
This location didn't disappoint me from their service to the taste. I had their 6oz steak with shrimp, it came with a side of... mashed potatoes some veggies and bread with butter. The steak was cook to my liking of medium rare the size of the main dish wasvery filling. And the red wine I had with it was all definitely worth it. The Keg on Granville/Dunsmuir! 4/5 An oldie but goodie! Most kegs open at 5pm, but this one opens for lunch! Service was... great. 1) 10oz Prime Rib So this is the second time this has happened at the Keg, the meat is dry and slightly chewy. I've hadTONS of prime rib in my life and I love it when the meat is juicy and tender. So even though it was still good, this could havebeen much better. Yes it was medium rare so it was cooked perfectly but the meat quality... FYI we had our prime rib split ontotwo plates, thats why in the photo it doesnt look as big! 3.5/5 2) Calamari Excellent. 5/5 3) Billy Miners Pie Can never gowrong with this massive slab of mocha ice cream on a bed of oreo pie crust drizzled with chocolate and caramel topped with somenuts. Ice cream quality could be improved though... like make it more creamy or something. But that will neverhappen. 5/5 Overall it was a great meal. Disappointed that the prime rib wasn't juicy.
