I recently had my wedding at The Loft. Not only is the venue beautiful the staff were amazing! They were very accommodating to... everything We needed. The meal was served family style which was perfect. Our guests loved the family style it made you feel asthough you were on the farm. The food was incredible our guests are still raving about it! We had our wedding at The Loft at Earls Yaletown. The food was amazing with a good selection to choose from. They do family... style which was different - but guests were able to take as much or as little as they chose to. Taste testing is not available.We got the Mother Earth Bowl salad - awesome; Mediterranean linguine - I liked it, but a tad tangy for most people; beets andcharred broccolini - good; salmon with mustard miso - very good, not overcooked; sirloin steak - super tender with peppercornsauce; cheesecake with seasonal fruits - very big portions, gave us regular and chocolate flavor. The price is quite fair withno \'rental\' fee. Drinks selection was also pretty good. I communicated to the event coordinator via email and response timewas anywhere from same day to one day (weekends excluded). The service on the day of was top notch, the event staff on site wassuper easy to work with, set up was just as communicated. They do regular table set up and let our helpers in early to set upthe decorations. They have a sound system we connected with my computer to play our own Spotify playlist as we didn\'t have aDJ. We also used their projector for our slideshow. The had a mic as well. The ambiance was of vintage vibes with a moderntwist. The lounge area was spacious with some booths and stables and bar; we used this space for the Chinese tea ceremony. Theparty room we had set up was a horseshoe shape which created an aisle for the main ceremony. The only thing I can pick on wasthat there is no bridal room - we had put up a sign in the women\'s washroom and used that as a bridal room; there\'s noelectrical outlet in there but the staff had put an extension cord in for us; the lighting is very dim in there (you\'ll needyour makeup artist to bring a ring light or smth, we used our cellphone flashlight as we were only touching up the make up).Overall, it was a fantastic experience! I had my wedding there this past weekend and the staff there were highly professional and helpful. A huge shoutout to Amanda and... Tyler who were There to help us out every step of the way. The venue worked well with all our vendors and the drop offs anddeliveries all happened without a hitch. This venue and the staff in the front of house and back made the most beautiful day ofmy life, a fairy-tale I?ll never forget. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding. The food was cookedperfectly and came out hot. The drinks were cold and refreshing and it all was unbelievably priced. Thank you again! Read more
