I really loved The Ramen Butcher. The black garlic ramen is my absolute favourite, I've gotten it multiple times. There are... typically no wait times, and the food usually comes out of the kitchen super fast. If you were in Chinatown I highly recommendvisiting this amazing joint! Read more

One of the best tasting ramens in Vancouver! We got two ramens to share: 1. Spicy Red Ramen Level 3: If you love heat and spice,... I definitely recommend it. Ordering the spice on the side allows you to customize your spice level. Level 2 spicy is the mostpopular. Noodles are firm and holds onto the broth well. Toppings add a good texture and balance to the dish. Remember to alwaysget the free extra noodles for any tonkatsu ramen. 2. Shoyu Ramen w/ extra cha-su (extra cost): If you're not into the richpork tonkatsu broth, the butcher shoyu has a kick of ginger, chicken, and pork flavour. Extremely light broth and the noodlesare thicker, which adds a different texture to every bite. We also added a mini spicy teri don, which wasn't spicy at all. Ittasted like a saucy teriyaki don with braised pork. If you're feeling extra hungry, definitely give it a try! For an appetizer,we shared an Okonomiyaki flavour gyoza. The portion and gyoza itself was very small and not worth the price. It tasted alright.Would not recommend getting it. Read more

I loved the texture of the noodles and the amount of toppings for the soup ramen was fantastic. The goyza was very flavourful... and I quite enjoyed the shochu drinks. The classic dipping noodles were yummy and the right texture as well. But there was a bittoo much carbs there for me and not enough toppings, although that might just be the style. The service and ambiance was great,I quite enjoyed the overall experience. Read more

Love this place!!! Their pork broth is so flavourful & creamy and every bowl is always so pretty. ???? Our go-to order here is... the Classic and the Black Garlic Ramen. Their restaurant is not too big, but there?s still a good amount of table & barseating. Parking is available on the street and nearby parkades. Make sure to add this place to your list of ramen places tovisit in Vancouver. Read more

I have to start with the staff. Wow !! All smiling, happy, accomodating, attractive, warm, kind and helpful. Orders come out... fast (we got there early), and the food was scrumptious and interesting. Booze beverages were great. If you can deal withVancouver Chinatown, The Ramen Butcher is a superb and safe reprieve from all that weirdness. Read more
