We just ate here and ended up getting the 2 piece Fried Halibut and I got sweet potato fries and hubby regular fries. Omg so... good and the fish was fresh and flakey, cooked to perfection. Came from Surrey. Went to Windjammer for fish and chips twice in 7 days. Delicious fresh fish awesome batter Yam fries or... regular had both top marks... Cold glasses with beer on tap. Highly recommend. Reasonable price fresh awesome food and service. Read more
This is a review of the food as I read from another reviewer that they had a bad experience with dining in. The food taste,... quantity, and price exceeded my expectations. I will be back to dine-in and take advantage of the beer special. Room forimprovement - could have offered me ketchup, cutlery and napkins as those were not in the bag. Had fish and chips here with my wife. I will say the fish and chips were actually very tasty and were a really great price (2... piece cod and chips $12.99). I would recommend picking up fish and chips here. That being said, to actually sit down in therestaurant was a pretty brutal experience. They had an AC unit leaking in a bucket and only half of the menu option drinks wereactually available. After 3 tries, I finally had to ask the server what I can order from their drink menu. I am still rating 4stars simply because the food and price is really worth it and the establishment still seemed clean. That being said, therestaurant experience would be 2/5 stars. It's a bit of a hole in the wall now and could use a coat of paint but don't let that push you away. Great place for fish and... chips British style. We come here often for the 2 piece Cod or Halibut meals. Love their tartar sauce. Read more
