I tried this place because the usual sushi restaurant I go to stopped serving Philadelphia rolls, this place serves them though... and they were excellent. Also got the golden California rolls, this may be my new favorite sushi restaurant! Read more

I have to say, quality overall is amazing. It's a breath of fresh air to find a sushi joint that actually takes the time to... create great sushi. Even the presentation is up to par. It's clean and comfortable and provides plenty of privacy for datenight. I recommend trying their green dragon roll for you Wasabi lovers. The service was outstanding too. My beverage neveremptied and my table was never clear. Read more

7/3/22 Edit: Their prices have increased a few separate times since they've opened, so I unfortunately had to remove them from... my regular rotation. They're still good for sure but the value proposition is gone. My original <$12 lunch (more recently~$16) would now be $19, with less variety. (All + tax, etc.) Now that rolls come in larger sizes it's harder to get a varietyas well. Will still visit from time to time, just not as a lunch regular, especially when I can get two huge rolls fromTokyroll for less (~$16 for what I would order and have leftovers), or a 3-roll combo from Kyoto that comes with soup for ~$15. If money is no object to you then by all means have at it, though if that's true you can probably do better anyway. Anyway, theoriginal review follows: If you're familiar with the sushi chiyo or ohana restaurants, this is effectively the same template. If not, I highly recommend them. The seared salmon is the best around in my opinion. I also like the pepper tuna roll, and ofall the nigiri I've tried, that's all been good as well. Unfortunately they don't have any fountain drinks and they're still inCovid mode, so the belt hasn't been activated yet but this is still my favorite sushi place in the vicinity. (Please note theattached picture is from early on; they forgot the sauce on the seared salmon) Read more

Food was good and not very expensive - we like the spicy crab roll and reordered. They are understaffed, but current employees... seems to manage the gap well. Definitely worth a try! Read more

It is. Wonderful to have a sushi place that is serving small plates . They don't have the conveyor belt sushi going but you... order what you want and they make it up fresh. It is so much better. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. Therestaurant is open till 9:00 even on weekdays, which is so freaking amazing. Definitely give them a try you won't bedisappointed. Read more
