This was our first time visiting. We dont go to vancouver area much but wanted to venture out of portland / gresham area and... look for new places that could become favorites. The view is beautiful, we were seated outside in a prompt manner. The waitress(Jaelyn) was great but the food was lacking. We ordered an appetizer which didnt arrive until after the food came. We allordered the mucho combo (with 4 of the favorite entrees) but one of our meals was forgotten about and didnt arrive. Had to waitfor that to be prepared. However, when our food did arrive it was cold like it had been sitting out for a while. They re-heatedit but since we had crunchy tacos in our order they got a little soggy from sitting around and being reheated. In addition theorder had a requests that were not achieved (example, no tomatoes on some items, no onions on some items, no quac on some items)but they all recieved with everything on / in them (almost seemed like extra was placed) Read more
I had a great first time experience here a while ago and came back today for the second time. The staff and service have been... great both times but I felt like this time around the food was lacking. I ordered the grande fiesta platter again. It's a greatmix of a variety of appetizers but the flavor was just not there for me. Pricey, food was cold, slow service... Enjoyed the view and the drinks, fresh guac, and chips. Ordered the fiesta platter... (chips were stale, boneless wings were okay), bacon wrapped shrimp (messy but okay to taste), chicken and sour cream enchiladas(tasted good but order was wrong - asked for no beans), buffalo wings (too saucy but good). Been coming here for over 20 years. I used to take my kids after work for dinners, birthday celebrations. The kids are grown... and sometimes still meet me there as we love this place. I was welcomed by Jordan the manager when I walked in. he sat me on the best table on the deck. JR provided knowledgeable and... friendly service. The Carnitas with chili Verde sauce were tender juicy and delightful. I was really excited to try the Petroneskinny margarita as I am controlling my diabetes with diet and exercise. The beautiful Columbia river views made the diningexperience extraordinary. I recommend this Mexican dining experience. Read more
