Owner too cheep to replace drive through sign lights. Can't see menue when it is dark.
Bought the fish tacos felt like I bit into rubber it was very grossly sickening and the bean burritos are all tortillas thick... hardly any beans quality of the food there on main St. Ventura so very poor. Inexpensive, decent quality Mexican food with a convenient drive thru option (much better than the 'Bell!) We go here probably... once every 2-3 weeks (living on the west end of Ventura, we won't go out of our way just for tacos). Don't like Del T hot sauce,so we buy fresh stuff at the grocery store and take our food home, to eat. My husband loves their regular tacos, I love thechicken soft tacos. Read more
I?m a fan of Del Taco. This particular location is a bit run down and in Avery not accessible parking lot/shopping area off a... very busy street. The workers tend to be a bit rude here and seem inconvenience to do their job. Shake machine is always out oforder or ?off for the night?. Last night I just got some fries from here. I enjoy the crinkle fries, the shakes, the softchicken tacos are good. Great low prices, lots of good deals. Not fine dining of course, it?s definitely a get what you pay forkind of place.
