Went there on Wednesday night, November 16 At 7:00 pm. May be two guests were dining. They brought a cold tri-tip that was... heated and was old. They forgot to bring our chicken dish, even though there was nobody there. I asked for refund. This is thesecond time I have been served old heated tri tip. I thought the first time was accident but this place shows a repeated patternof serving outdated grilled food. Avoid by all means. Read more

Checked this place out with several other service members during lunch hours. Got a menu and went to sit down. Ordered the... Superfood Fiesta Bowl(S). "S" for sharable. I love Stonefire, however the restaurant near us just can't seem to get it together. I'm writing this after having good food,... and bad food delivered at different times, getting the wrong thing curbside and having to walk in to fix it, then waiting halfan hour to get what I ordered. When eating in the restaurant, we have had to return inedible food. Once in a while they servethe amazing food I remember from Pasadena, however, more often they mess it up here in Ventura. The salmon overdone... thetritip not cooked properly... not even cut properly! You try to pick up a piece, and the entire thing comes up on your fork.Their Tropical Iced Tea is either watered down, or they used regular iced tea and added it to make it go further... that is whenthey have the tea at all. And the Bradshaw have become inedible. I am sadly going to have to find another favorite place forfood and keep craving Stonefire. Read more

The food was absolutely wonderful. I ordered the 4oz brisket and 4oz chicken, both with BBQ sauce. Ceasar side salad and... chicken tortilla soup. When the food arrived at our table, I thought they forgot to put the BBQ sauce on what I ordered becauseI didn't see a thick red sauce slathered over the brisket or the chicken. Come to find out, their sauce is more like an au jus.It was extremely flavorful and didn't overpower the taste of the meat. Hands down wish there was a Stonefire Grill in SanDiego. Read more
