0 stars if i could. DO NOT EAT HERE! Party of 3. We ordered 3 apps & meals & drinks. I ordered the BLT. While opening my mouth... to eat, the sandwich had too much lettuce. I removed a piece so I may eat when I noticed the marks on it. I used my camera totake a picture and zoomed, it had bugs and possible eggs and slime. When we informed the waitress there was a problem she gotanother waitress who got the manager or owner (not sure). He came over and asked did the waitress remove it from the bill. Wetold him we were not sure but we explained to him that we will not be eating any other food ordered as we found what looked likeroaches and eggs in our food. He said he doesn't doesn't this. We told him we were disgusted and had to leave. We tried to bevery discreet until he began yelling to leave and never come back. I'm not sure how he thought kicking us out rather thanapologizing was appropriate but he did. Not only am I applaud by the behavior and response of this but actually now concernedfor our health. I was a little hesitant with a 2.5 star Google rating, but what a great place. atmosphere, service, and the food was excellent.... the price was really good too. The menu shows a little history of the restaurant, and has been running 130 years. I willdefinitely be returning in the future. Read more

Went here once when I first moved to the area this past spring. It was?in a word?awful. Once seated (there were maybe 10 people... in the whole restaurant), we ordered drinks. Server forgot we ordered drinks. We eventually got them. When our food (fajitas)came, they were essentially inedible. There was some weird barbecue-style glaze on the meat which seemed pretty incongruent withthe fajitas. Everything took ages, and after maybe 90m or so, I nearly made the waitress take my credit card so we could justleave. We had no intention of returning, but it?s close to where we live and decided to give it a go for a quick and casualappetizer. When we arrived (at 8:15PM), one other table in the restaurant and somehow two servers on) we ordered a Guinness anda Cape May IPA. As with last time, drinks took ages. The Guinness was undrinkable. I figured it?d be a safe move because itwasn?t a seasonal or something but the keg must?ve been kicked. When the food came (it wasn?t too long this time) thequesadillas were fried with shredded lettuce inside? Like? why? My girlfriend ate a few subpar ribs from a half rack before wemutually called it quits. Put my card on the table and when the waitress came by, I tried to make her take it without evenseeing the check because we wanted to leave and knew they tend not to come back. She put her hand up and said ?one second? andjust kept walking. There?s literally no one else here. She came back maybe ten min later with the check. She offered us a box,but didn?t note the largely uneaten food and full beer. She asked if we were in a rush. As convenient as the location is, Iguarantee I?ll never come here again. Truly the worst. We?re not talking filet here. We?re talking beers, ribs, and quesadillas. Read more

They charged me for a bag to carry my 3 meals out to the car with which is insanity if you don?t want to give people bags then... why do you offer take out, and they didn?t give any ranch with our orders that we requested. Food is fantastic but seriouslylet?s get real here charging me for a bag is as petty as it gets. And please follow through on what your customers are askingfor instead of worrying about getting my credit card info. Read more

The food is really good here, and its a really nice inside. You can have a casual date here. Menu has good variety, reasonably... priced. Most dinner entrees are around $20 or under. But the food is what brings me here. Cooked with farm fresh ingredients.Great atmosphere and good service. Friendly staff that knows their regulars. Definitely one of my top places to eat in Sussexcounty. Read more
