We arrived on vacation from Massachusetts today, and picked this restaurant because their starters and small plates sounded... AMAZING! We quickly were placed at a table, but thengetting discouraged….Then Jesus came over and he waited on us and withinminutes we had our drinks and starters! The fastest service we have probably ever had!! Drinks and Food was DELICIOUS!! Lovedthe Deviled Eggs!!! We even joined the beer club!! This restaurant, and GM Jim are lucky to have Jesus!!! This place has been our family favorite. But today i was disappointed when the host at the front desk was very very rude in... seating us. This time we went with our friends telling then its an amazing place. In addition, i am part of the Beer Club whichLazy Dog claims to give Priority seating. We went on 8.11.22 at 8.30 pm. I don't know the name of the host but she was notsmiling at all and was rude too in talking. She was not pleasant at all. Long wait for the table in the patio and the service was extremely slow. Shouldn't sit in the patio area if you don't like dogs.... I had the fish tacos and really enjoyed them. The sangria was good. Shockingly my first time! If you're looking for something chill and laid back, this is your spot. They have a huge variety of... food so I'm sure you'll find something you enjoy! My favorite was the fried deviled eggs. I've never had fried before and theywere really good! Also loved their spicy margarita. Came here on a rainy Sunday for lunch. We loved the outdoor heated seating area. It would be amazing if that is open when it is... snowing outside. The centered fireplace really creates the setting of being in a mountain cabin in the winter. We tried theMimosa flight, and the ratio of juice to sparkling wine isn’t well thought out. You run out of juice far too quickly, whichleads to imbalanced Mimosas. I honestly prefer the flights at City Works. The food was okay. Nothing you would hurry back for.We shared fish and chips - fries were good, fish was decent- and the shrimp tacos. Presentation wasn’t great and taste wasokay. They have a real experience going with that heated outdoor area in the winter, if they could take a note from City Workson Mimosa flights and improve the food quality, they’d be a regular spot for us.
