We have been threatening to try this place for 2 years and finally made it today for brunch. I ordered the omelette du jour... which was a western with chicken breast instead of ham and my husband ordered the quiche of the day. Both were excellent. Youcan definitely tell that the food is made to order. My omelette as well as the quiche were huge. We took half of it home. Thecoffee was very good as well. Our server Tammy was perfectly lovely and attentive. The atmosphere is casual and elegant. My onlysuggestion would be to have some beachy laid back music in the background. Service was the worst. Fish was not cooked and server not responding to request to have it replaced so in the end canceled... reorder because everyone else in party had already finished eating. My group of 4 adults and 2 children shared an outdoor dinner recently to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays. We ordered... drinks, apps, entrees, and desserts. The service was nice. The food was decent. Little to no choices for plant based dietsunfortunately. Many chefs will accommodate especially given the locale. When requested my friend's salad still arrived coveredwith cheese. Overall the biggest disappointment was being swarmed with flies the moment our food arrived. Our server and otherstaff were oblivious this issue. After complaining they put a citronella candle on the table that did nothing. For a price ofover $500 that night I would have preferred far better. Read more

The staff had just finished a 15 minute rain shower so they were understandably frazzled. Our waiter took our order and never... came back to the table to check on us. My omelette was not sufficiently cooked and had to ask nice hostess to remedy this whichshe did. I have eaten at the Bistro numerous times and never had food or service this bad.
