Wow. What a let down. I?ve wanted to go here for a few years and finally decided to after a co-worker said it was ?so good?. I... ordered Country friend chicken with hash browns (and cheese on it), over easy eggs and toast. My partner ordered Crepes. The?boy? we had as a waiter was really a boy. I?m pretty sure he was going through puberty, which would be ok, if he actually knewanything and could handle the job. He really needed to brush up on his menu skills and maybe what size box we needed instead ofasking first timers what WE NEEDED. All I can say about this place is Canned, microwave, can and more microwave. My countryfried chicken tasted literally like a can. I?ve never had bad country fried chicken. I really wasn?t sure what mystery meat Iwas eating. And the gravy was the thinnest looking gravy I have ever had. It had like these little round things in it that I?llassume wasn?t hot dogs, but very well tasted like it. Seriously I?ve never had bad country fried Chicken! And the gravy isalways a thick southern delight. My dining partner said ?can?. I said. ?Really bad can? ???????????. My hash browns didn?t havecheese on it and I sent it back. They tasted ok. Eggs were ok. How can you mess an egg though??! I was so dissatisfied with mychicken and the horrid can taste, I kind of didn?t care to eat at that point. My friend had crepes and after trying to figureout what she could get inside of them, she opted for strawberries and bananas. I saw her going crazy with the powder sugar jarafter they were delivered and quietly asked how it was. She said Oh so Bland!!!We were both disappointed in our meal esp afterour co worker said how great it was. We then spotted some good looking pie, which we should of ate for our meal, but we quicklydeclined, wanting to go home. Man I just forgot about our cheese curds. They were the best thing we had!!A little thick andchewy, but eatable. This place really is not worth the time. To be fair, we have only ate at GUS once, b Read more
If you like seasoning, I wouldn?t dine here. We ordered the fajita chicken scrambler and gyro/Greek scrambler with toast and... fries. There wasn?t any salt let alone fajita seasoning on my scrambler. It was served ?on a bed? of hashbrowns that weredrowning in oil (and no salt or flavor). The Greek scrambler was okay, but also lacked flavor. Definitely not worth $12.99 aplate. We had great service but I wouldn?t dine in again unless you?re going for something plain like a stack of pancakes or noseasoning is your cup of tea. Read more
First visit to Gus's Diner. This place was crazy busy and the staff was phenomenal. The food was worth the wait. My son a very... picky eater said he would be back for breakfast. The pot roast and noodles were delicious as well. Best cookies and creammilkshake ever. Read more
I've been to Gus's for both breakfast and dinner, and both times were pretty solid. Portion sizes are large (at least for what I... ordered), and the food is good quality diner fare. As expected, it was a bit on the greasy side, but there are healthier optionsavailable on the menu. The decor and ambiance is also fun, with lots of vinyl, checkered tile, and pictures of Elvis and MarilynMonroe on the walls. Read more
