We first came here on a Tuesday. Needless to say we were disappointed that they were closed. Luckily we were staying in... Hurricane, UT so we made a special trip on Friday. Extremely friendly staff and you can watch them.making their famous,delicious pies. We bought 2 full pies (Cherry Raspberry and Volcano) and one slice of Sour Cream Lemon. The pies wereabsolutely delicious! We took the Volcano home to CA with us. Let's just say it didn't look quite the same when we got home. Weended up just eating it out of the tin with spoons. ???????? But quite honestly I couldn't care less about how it looked. Itwas worth every bite. They also have some pastries, sodas, and sometimes savory pies. This will be a definite stop everytime wecome visit my mom! Veyo Pies is located about 30 minutes from St. George. The drive is worth it, as they have some of the best homemade style pies... you could get. They Veyo pie is always a classic choice as it has everything included in it, from a flaky crust, to chocolatefilling, and loaded with homemade whipped cream. The store has a good variety of other pies and we have not been disappointed onany others we have tried. You can call I. Orders or pick them up. Finally tried the famous pies! Got a couple single slices and loved the caramel apple the most. Lemon sour cream was great but... very lite lemon flavor (left me wanting a little more). The best part was the thin flakey crust. So good. Read more
