Menu for Heritage Buffet in Vicksburg, MS

We drove from Madison, MS to eat here this evening. Paid 60$ to eat, the steaks were burnt, boiled shrimp had no taste, skewered... shrimp was like shoe leather. Mashed potatoes were old and cold even the collard greens had no taste. We fixed a plate, sat downtook a few bites and got up and left to find somewhere else to eat. We never write reviews but this was disgusting, it was coldand had no taste. Someone needs to do something about this run down Buffett. Crab legs pay by the pound when it use to be part of the buffet all you can eat and the other items on the buffet are totally... not worth the money and the 45 minutes drive to Vicksburg. Most people went to Heritage for the crab legs cause the other itemsyou can get locally and it taste better, like at Ma' Hamils and Berry's seafood. The only leg up Heritage had was the all youcan eat crab legs. They are charging more for the regular items plus extra for crab legs. No thanks, I will gladly pay less atMa' Hamils and Berry's seafood with more tastier options and save money on gas too. Read more

I've been there four weekends in a row now, and all four times have not been the best of time. Had to wait 10-15 minutes for... crab legs on three visits. The last visit you had to buy the crab by the pound and they had all you can eat crawfish. Thecrawfish were mushy and bland and had to wait for those as well. The wait staff except for a select few were very unpleasantacting as though they were forced to be there. Especially if you add your gratuity to your ticket when you pay ahead. Me and my family attended this place last night and everything was GREAT from the food to the WONDERFUL supervisor Ms.Toni!! IT... WAS MY BIRTHDAY and 4 other of my family member and she did a good with the cup cake & candle that I always loved..Our serverWAS GREAT!! The food is always prepared well with a mouth watering variety of entrees, vegetables and desserts. The salad bar is also... excellent. There are always vegetarian options and two kinds of soup. There are always fried catfish and fried chicken availableand both are wonderful. Good service, as well. Read more
