This place has a traditional British pub vibe. Kind of dark, with somewhat old beer smell inside. Even tables feel a bit sticky... like they weren't cleaned properly. And all of this gives kind of special charm to Penny Farthing. Customer service was awesome.Young ladies were quick, polite and very attentive to our requests. Drinks and food came rather quickly. It was a service with abig smile. Their West Coast chowder with smoked salmon was the best we ever tried. We were glad we decided to try this pub. Read more

You pay for the ambiance. We came here for happy hour on a Wednesday. I ordered the raw shucked oysters 3 for $10 and the... calamari for the same price. My wife ordered the stuffed yorkies for the same price. The oysters were small and average tastingwith the delicious red wine vinegar sauce on the side. Atmosphere seemed great. Went in for a quick drink/appetizer. Server came quickly and took our drink order and then our food... order. Drinks arrived promptly, however food did not.
