Hands down best milkshake in Greater Victoria. Family is always hitting this place up for ice cream and the animals.
This was a hidden gem! We searched for a good place for dessert after dinner and this little shop came up. Their latte and milk... shake (apple pie flavour) were really great! The server was very friendly, patient and helpful too, she made our visit pleasantand welcoming. We will come again when we visit Victoria again. Read more
So I made the mistake of driving to Metchosin to try the desserts at this 4.8 rated confectionaire. Not a good idea. 32... dollars for two pieces of double chocolate cheese cake and two pieces of flourless chocolate cake. My expectation at that pricepoint is a quality to match Glamorgan Bakery or Jelly Modern Doughnuts in Calgary. Both concoctions are thick enough that youcould use them as a functional one time door stop. The cheese cake flavour wise was no different than a Costco cheese cake. The flourless chocolate cake is like eating a brick of fudge both in terms of texture and sweetness. I love my sweets,espescially chocolate. I hope the microbes at the community compost facility enjoy these cakes more than i enjoyed the twobites I tried of each of these offerings. I hate to be critical of a small business in these tough times but this wasexceptionally dissappointing. I dread my wifes reaction when she tastes these items tonight, sadly I think the microbes will beon a massive sugar high when these two slices hit the compost pile. Read more
