Menu for Sakura Japanese & Chinese Cuisine in Victoria, TX

As someone who lives in Houston, I figured that sushi in this town would be average at best. Much to my surprise, the sushi here... was more than good, it was downright delicious. We split the sashimi boat between three and each ordered rolls, which ended upbeing the perfect amount of food. Service was prompt and, as mentioned, the food was exceptional. I?ll give this a 2 star because the onion soup and fried dumplings (delicious flavor, but they need more filling) were the only... decent things I had. Came to eat dinner on 7/9. Ordered steak & chicken combo plate with just vegetables (broccoli & zucchini)and no rice. Ordered steak medium. Steak was brought to the table rare. After having to flag down a waitress that wasn?t mine,the steak was sent back to be cooked longer only to come back med-rare. At this point I didn?t even want it. The chicken wasbland, 80% of the vegetables were cut so big that they were still raw and crunchy & they too were also bland. First time dininghere and it left a lot to be desired. Read more

Fast and friendly delievery. Upon opening our door We were greeted with a bow and the nicest Asian man dressed in like a... Japanese uniform which, my husband found awesome and unique.He lightly knocked on our door instead of banging it and setting ourdog off. Which was great and we hope he delivers more often! The food was delicious and hot! There was a lot of it too, enoughfor another meal for later. Highly recommend this place you won?t be disappointed. They have a lot of dishes to choose from. First time eating there. Had the orange beef (extra spicy) which was excellent. More than I could eat, so brought home and had a... couple of days later. My wife had the shrimp bento box. Again, lots of food that was very well prepared. Nice grilled shrimpand fried vegetables as well as a salad plus other items. I would strongly endorse this restaurant. I would like to try thesushi as their menu had lots of rolls, all of which looked very tasty. We will be back. Read more
